I'm about half way done the book but I really enjoy this so far. As someone who has a mental illness I can relate to a lot of things this book talked about. Feelings of isolation and feeling like nobody cares about you. How things that come easy to others aren't so easy for people like us.People complain about their job or going to parties but we struggle just to wake up every day. Something as easy as smiling is almost impossible for us and we're often told to suck it up or we're being 'drama queens". People who don't have these problems will never understand and will look at us like we're crazy or sad but instead of telling us to fake a smile and looking down on us they should take the time to understand what we go through and try to help us.

p.s. I don't have depression/anxiety as much as I used to. It never truly goes away forever but I've lived a happier life for about 10 years or so now thanks to the positive people I've met in my life and the positive twitch/youtube communities I follow who help keep me smiling when I do have those bad feelings come back. I try my best to help others who go through the same things I used to because I will never forget just wishing I could be anybody else in the world.
