Publisher's Summary
Meanwhile, Beau's lover and fellow cop, Mel Soames, is given her own hush-hush investigation. A routine check on registered sex offenders has revealed a disturbing pattern: they're dying off at an alarming rate, and not all due to natural causes. Details of the latest death suggest an inside job, but Mel isn't letting this go. Suddenly, Mel's investigation becomes entangled with Beau's, and the two begin to uncover a nightmarish conspiracy that could involve people in high places - including their own top brass.

She never fails!
Once again J. A. Jance has proven to be one of the best writers I've ever read. JP Beaumont is my favorite character of Jance's. I only wish she would write faster, I can't wait for the next book.

Don’t know how I missed this one.....
Sure glad that I found it though. Not 100% thrilled with the narrator change, but nonetheless, I love JP Beaumont! Great story.

A Good book
All of these Beau Beaumont books are good, this is one of the even better ones. It's good to see an injustice turned around. It gets complicated, which is good, it makes you think. It's satisfying, and that is Very Good!

Boring!
What disappointed you about Justice Denied?
Very slow moving and really quite a waste of time; when I find myself doing other things instead of listening to the book, I know it's not for me! Half-way through I just gave up and moved along to another book.
Has Justice Denied turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, as I like this genre of book.
What does Ala Nebelthau bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She's only as good as the words she is given to read. While a good narrater, there wasn't much she could do for the story.
Any additional comments?
While this may be from a best selling author, I really wish I hadn't spent the money to get it. It is very slow moving and really not that interesting.

Story very good
I really liked this book. The narrator was a bit hard to follow because he used basically the same voice for every character. If he started a sentence for a character in a slightly different voice it soon ended up the same as the others before the end of a sentence. This is a true JA Jance goodie.

JA Janice continues to flow.
Excellent book in the JP Beaumont series. Ala Nebelthau is a MUCH better reader than Gene Engene of the auto books!
