The MMC and FMC storyline is one of the most likely out of the series. Spoilers, stop reading if you don’t want to know. The fact that both come from media families and that they actually have some character turmoil make this the best story in the series. Kate is my favourite and I’m also happy we get to hear about Bones and Reaper’s stories as well. The spice content is a little light and the scenes are more often sweet than spicy.

my heart broke while listening to this book. Savannah thomas and caden hart did absolutely amazing! the emotions.. it was all there. the really brought Kage and Raina to life in the best ways!
i sobbed my way through it. i cried for all these characters who each go through their own hell.
i love the way Kage comes to realize his feelings and raina's resilience through it all.
this is definitely on the darker side. Kage is NOT a nice man and Raina does not have a pretty story. but its worth all the trauma to get to their beautiful ending!
