Publisher's Summary
People say karma's a... well, you know. Personally, I don't think I'm that bad. It's not like I wanted this job. I wasn't even in my right mind when I accepted the position.
Now, I'm surrounded by crazy coworkers like Lady Luck, who's a bit of a tramp, and Murphy's Law, who's a bumbling oaf. But the worst is Fate. He's got a problem with transfers like myself and I have to see him constantly. It's unavoidable, since we're hunting the same man, my murderer.

Fire this narrator!
When I read the summary, I was sure the book was going to be good. However, when I hit the play button all I could concentrate on was the robotic voice droning on. There was no passion, no fire, nothing. Stephen Hawking would have been better.

Interesting story concept, but...
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
It is 50/50 on if this is worth the listen/read. I was wondering if this was written for a specific gender. I found the reading horrible with her "acting" out characters as cheesy. I also found the main character as too whiny and constantly restating the fact that she found the character Fate as unappealing and rude and yet always attracted. When the two characters finally did consummate their relationship I found it disgusting to listen to and hit the fast-forward button. Oh and there was so much build-up tp the main goal of the main character that when it finally came I found myself saying out loud, "Really? That's it? I went through 29 chapters of this dog for this?!" Yes, uneventful, short and you enter into the finish without much warning (sort of like that poorly written sex scene).
Would you recommend Karma to your friends? Why or why not?
Maybe. But again the whining of the character throughout the entire book is a big turn-ff.
Would you be willing to try another one of Angel Clark’s performances?
I would prefer not to if I can avoid it.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Yes I actually would as I do like the concept of the story. I think written for the screen to make the main character less whiny would really do the story justice and could be interesting to watch.

Intolerable narration
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Someone. Who. Likes. Staccato. Narration.
What didn’t you like about Angel Clark’s performance?
This narrator is, by far, the worst I have ever heard. So unnatural and jilted you can barely pay attention to the story.

Interesting
Different and unusual but makes you wonder. Would have been better if the narrator wasn't so bad. Talked like Captain Kirk and her guy voices sounded like 13 year old boys.

Narrator Can Kill A Book.
Story was okay. Good idea on the characters and playing of their meanings BUT the narrator made ever MALE in the book sound like a nasal whiner. Fate should of been a masculine character, a man's man, buff, and sexy But the narrator made him a sissy boy.

Different
A bit different than other of it's ilk I've read. Interesting universe. Good few hours. I'll have to continue with the series since there are a lot of unanswered questions.

Totally Unique
You wake up and discover you are now "Karma" and you must work with the insufferable person called faith. What could be the problem?
Karma can be described as something that you get based on what you put out. On the other hand Fate, which is also sometimes called as destiny is that will happen inevitably.
So if you make a decision because you are karma why can fate over ride you? Why should you care because as soon as your probation period is over you will get the hell out of here. Why does it bother you that fate is always leaning on something.
What is wrong that I had a life before my after life? Who killed me and why?
Read this one.

Good story, bad reader.
The overall story is good, a bit too much "I have information, but I'm not going to tell you", but overall it's enjoyable.
The reader on the other hand make me want to stop listening after the second male character was introduced. She doesn't have the range to do justice to men's voices and makes them all sound pompous or whinny (or both).
I would rather read the subsequent books in the hope that I will enjoy them more than listening to this reader.
