When Michael is washed up on an island in the Pacific after falling from his parents’ yacht, he struggles to survive on his own. He can’t find food and he can’t find water, and as Michael and his dog curl up to sleep, he knows they cannot last long.

i love how the start went to the end by leaving a home town and stranded on an island and than Kensuke was still paranoid of the war

I love this story and the narration was perfect. Even as an adult this children’s novel was captivating. I have read the book before and listening to this audio book makes me want to read it again. Makes me feel like an imaginative and adventurous child again…
