Publisher's Summary

I'm entering the endgame.

Even as I gain new allies, new gear, and greater understanding of Albertus' true plans, the odds are growing more extreme.

Who can I trust? What is the AI Albertus Magnus trying to accomplish? What happened to archmagus Jeramy, and why is Guthorios massing an undead army so vast that it stretches from horizon to horizon?

Any sane player would quit. Any reasonable person would admit defeat.

But I've got no choice.

I'm going to see this battle through to its bitter end. I'm going to unearth the secrets behind Euphoria Online - or die trying.

Great Read

I read LLRP book a while back and got hooked on them. I’ve read a few so far and I got to say this book is one of the best so far. Great Story by the author and great work by the narrator. I gave this book all the stars they had and would have gone for more. Give this book a try.

Fitting Conclusion

This book keeps up with the quality of the previous books. The character development has been great through this series and we see several new additions here. There's some surprisingly emotional parts as well. The end seemed slightly rushed, though it was still fitting and well done.

Narration by Vikas Adam keeps up the standard from previous books. Certainly recommended if you have enjoyed the series this far.

this was a great litrpg series,
I enjoyed it, the ending was not what I was suspecting, however it was really good.
I look forward to more litrpg books from this author

I'm not ready for this series to end! I want to say way too much and not enough happened all at once. I wasn't ready for it to end!

author seemed to forcibly end story

The earlier books seemed polished and delightfully engaging. This book seemed distant and hurried. I almost wish I had not listened, the only saving factor was the closure that the book brought. The importance of survival and xp grinding (which is the core of this serries) is lost to non main characters taking on the action of the book, while almost none of that action is elaborated. If this final book was different I believe this serries may have stood atop a flooded lit rpg genre. The ending could have been the same but I think another book may have been required to see the true power of Chris and the gang come to full fruition and to watch them capture truth for themselves without the "pull the incredible gear out of your ear" tactics used to skip detail and abruptly finish a piece of work that had so much promise.

Let down

The book at least took up time and gave me something to do. But the story was almost painful to listen to and ignore all the logical loopholes and inconsistencies.

Ending was lackluster

Good book but, seriously suspends even the remotest shred of believability. After 3 books leading up to the ending, it was not great, the author could have done more instead of just ending it with spurious reasoning.

Really good story, amazing voice acting

Like all trilogies, the series/story doesn’t really get started till book 2. I enjoyed the story, but I found myself listening to certain parts multiple times just because the voices and phrases actually brought a smile to my face. Like all trilogies, the ending always seems to happen abruptly.
