Publisher's Summary

From the number one New York Times best-selling author of the Stalking Jack the Ripper series comes the steamy conclusion to Kingdom of the Wicked trilogy.

Two curses.

One prophecy.

A reckoning all have feared.

And a love more powerful than fate. All hail the king and queen of Hell.

Emilia is reeling from the shocking discovery that her twin sister, Vittoria, is alive. But before she faces the demons of her past, Emilia yearns to claim her king, the seductive Prince of Wrath, in the flesh. Emilia doesn’t simply desire his body, she wants his heart and soul—but that’s something the enigmatic demon can’t promise her.

When a high-ranking member of House Greed is assassinated, Emilia and Wrath are drawn to the rival demon court. Damning evidence points to Vittoria as the murderer, and she’s quickly declared an enemy of the Seven Circles. Despite her betrayal, Emilia will do anything to solve this new mystery and find out who her sister really is.

Together Emilia and Wrath play a sin-fueled game of deception as they work to stop the unrest that’s brewing between witches, demons, shape-shifters, and the most treacherous foes of all: the Feared.

Emilia was warned that when it came to the Wicked nothing was as it seemed. But have the true villains been much closer all along? When the truth is finally revealed, it just might end up costing Emilia her heart.

Loved the first 2 books. 3rd was a let down

The first 2 books were so good and the 3rd was such a let down!
Just waiting for something to happen for the whole book and was very anti-climatic.

It's fine, but...

Really wish I could get my credits back from this series, not really worth the credits or the time I spent listening to them. The story was fine but the narrator was blah.

a lovely ending!

HEA
We love a slutty, twist and tun filled conclusion to a fantastic series!
it felt truer to the first book with revitalizing Emilia's love of cooking (and Maniscalco's love of mouth water descriptions of food)

Lack of Relative Content... Lots of Vanilla Sex

Narration - Monotone.

Story - Lacks Depth. This could have been a fantastic book, if the author would have used the pages for actual story telling.

Audiobook saved it

Honestly, I started reading this series via my kindle and DNF’d halfway through. Something about the way it’s was translating in my head made me loose interest. However; the audible version has really been a game changer. The narrator was amazing and so were the sound effects.

Fantastic Ending

Loved, loved! This book wrapped up the story beautifully. It was so nice to have the fmc finally stop being a neurotic mess and step into her power.

Terrible narration, meh story

I almost returned it after the first chapter as I couldn’t handle the narrator’s constantly overemphasizing the last word in each sentence, the way you would if you were surprised or shocked by something. Like when your tone goes up at the end like THIS. Except it was literally every sentence.

Eventually, even the mediocre story couldn’t hold me. I just didn’t love Amelia, or really connect with her. I returned this one at 60% done.

Phenomenal

This series has had me in a chokehold. The slow burn was worth every single minute of waiting. The narrator is sublime, despite the other consensus mentioned in another comment. The whole audio production of this series is at an elite level. You almost feel spoiled for other audiobooks after listening to these. Wrath and Emilia’s story will forever be one of my all time favorites. Do yourself a favor and listen to these!

Amazing performance!

Literally captivated me and held my attention. I love the sound effects, her change in voice for different perspectives, and the ending gave me chills. I would definitely recommend and re-listen.

For the love of Demons!

This series did not disappoint one bit! Except for the fact that is over. Everything from the story told to the narrator was fantastic. I have never wanted to comment sin and go to Hell so bad in my life.. hahahah!

Best audiobook ever. This one was the best of 3 but they were all amazing. The music added made it a little creepy too.

Marisa Calin

I listened to the first two books in this series through my library and I didn't feel like waiting so I went ahead and used a credit for Kingdom of the Feared. One of the reasons I did that was because I knew no matter what happened with the story I was in a treat with having Marisa Calin as the narrator. She has such a fantastic voice and I get so engrossed in the stories she reads. In particular I think the production of the audiobooks in this series is particularly amazing with the added music and other production layers that are not in the typical audiobook.
