Moving in with the Kings of Aventine was supposed to be simple: get close enough to find out what happened to my sister and get the hell out. Yeah, that's not what happened. Like, at all.

I have about three sets left till the whole series is done, and I love them?!!!? good story!

good anthology series

I wasn't sure about listening to another installment in this series as book 1 was pretty slow moving, plot, relationship building and heat. Thankfully, the author didnt spend alot of time rehashing first books' events, as is sometimes the case. Willas story just carried on and finally, the second installment brought more of everything, including the reason behind the Kings protective feelings toward Willa, Neos' anger & who's likely behind the disappearances. No shortage of delicious, graphic, why chose steam so if that's not your vibe, this book isn't for you. I wouldn't have minded more chapters narrated by Michael Gallagher in male perspective, since the Kings characters are literally obsessed with their childhood crush.
