Too much internal monologue. Lots of repetitive terms “if I’m being honest” Accents are not great. Many modern terms that don’t fit the world.
I was hoping this was the last book.

It is a very short title, and it is a cliffhanger. I didn’t have to wait very long for this book to come out since finding this trilogy/hopefully more to come the storyline is fantastic and the performance is great.

I only have one question really, why does the author never once mention birth control? The two leads have sex frequently and never talk about any form of preventing pregnancy. And yet there is no pregnancy scare either? Major, major plot hole for a romance novel. Unless they’re gonna find out they’re pregnant in the next book or something
