Publisher's Summary
Renowned beauty Lady Linnet is torn between two desires: revenge on those who destroyed her family, or marriage to her childhood sweetheart, Sir James Rayburn. One fateful night, she makes a misguided choice: she sacrifices Jamie's love for a chance at vengeance.
Jamie Rayburn returns to England in search of a virtuous wife - only to find the lovely Linnet as bewitching as ever. Their reckless affair ignites anew, even hotter than before, although Jamie vows to never again trust her with his heart. Then just as Linnet begins to make amends, she's tempted by one last opportunity to settle old scores. But a final retribution could cost her Jamie's love - this time forever.

I'm enjoying the entire series. They are thoughtfully written, and well worth the read. Derek Perkins is a wonderful narrator.

Disappointing and a totally forgettable story
I couldn't even pretend that I liked Lady Linnet. I kept waiting for another lucky lass to enter the picture and win Jamie's heart. I know these kind of books are just for fun, but this story line wasn't in the least entertaining. This one left me with a frown and furrowed eyebrows.
I've always enjoyed Margaret Mallory's books, and will try again, hoping to erase this one from my memory. I would have returned this book for a refund of my credit if it wasn't for the redeeming narration by Mr. Perkins, although he could work on his French accent a little!

loved the series
I really struggled to like the main female character. She lacked the strength of previous women in this series. But I loved the series as a whole.

She wasn't head strong she was a Bitch.
I hated Lynette. She wasn't headstrong she was a selfish bitch. Jamie deserved so better. don't get me wrong Jamie definitely has issues as well but I just couldn't stand her.

A good read
I love all of Margaret Mallory books but I didn't like the devil worshipers that are in this book.

Great read as always by Margaret Mallory.
Her women characters are wonderfully strong and assertive, while the men are exciting. Her story never fails to have unexpected twists and turns. Never a boring book. I look forward to more of her books as I already have them all. Keep writing so I can read them.

A HoT and Steamy Story With So Much More
I thorougly enjoyed this story of Jamie and Linnet. In the beginning it tells you of their history and then the ride begins. There are so many strong supporting characters to give this story depth. You don't know what will happen next and I enjoy that type of pleasant excitement. I hope there will be another one.

It's a smutty book!
Love that phrase "smutty book." Now I love a sexy story with sexy characters, but I totally agree with Jan's review. Lynette was a pain raising her skirts as if it were merely a way to pass the time bored me to tears. This is a smutty book, I thought. Didn't bother to finish it. I too thought Jamie should have been looking for a woman with more sense. I like Mallory's writing and thought this would be just the thing. Very disappointed. Wait til another Mallory book comes out. In the meantime try a Tessa Dare story.

Love, hate, revenge, and passion!!!
What did you love best about Knight of Passion?
I like reading books that have historical facts. It makes you want to research and learn about the characters in the story. I enjoyed reading all the books in this series and after each book, I found myself browsing the internet for more facts about the King Henry V and his wife. So many things in the series written based on real facts.
What did you like best about this story?
The main characters are very engaging personalities. Both are strong, stubborn and willful characters. You listen to the book and feel every feeling the characters feel..the jealousy, fear, and love, and etc and just can’t stop wondering what’s going to happen next. The story is wonderfully written!!! I can’t wait to read Mallory’s next book.
