5 Star review for Landmarks by Margaret Silf

I very much liked this contemporary "retelling of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. As one who is now in his third year of following the exercises, and in the training process of becoming a spiritual director, I found this to be an invaluable guide, a personalized mentoring tool, the author no doubt having lived out experientially the things she had written about. The reader of this remastered version of Inner Compass, did a splendid job fulfilling her mandate, even sounding so much like Margaret Silf, herself. Kudos! I highly recommend this audiobook. My only caveat being that perhaps someone who has not been previously exposed to Ignatian Spirituality may have difficulty grasping the concepts. However, this challenge may further whet the appetite and augment the thirst for more...perhaps inspiring a decision to find a spiritual director, and begin the Exercises from a first hand, personally experienced basis.
A delightfully valued purchase. I will likely return to this audiobook again and again, using the paper/print version to accompany the audiobook occasionally.
