Publisher's Summary

Do you try not to be late, but it just keeps happening?

You are not alone - one in five people struggle to be on time, and would love to change their lateness habit. Until now it’s been a lonely battle, but in this trailblazing audiobook Grace Pacie, a lifelong self-confessed "Timebender", reveals the surprising truth about why we are late - it’s not a personal failing, we are hard-wired that way. She explains not only when and why we are late, but also when and why we can be early; what is going on in our brains; and what we can do to fix it.

Based on a potent fusion of psychology, self-help, and 10 years of researching fellow sufferers, this audiobook shows us how we can make sure we arrive on time. Written with a light touch, and oodles of humour, Grace dissects our singular approach to time, and in a joyful reversal of conventional wisdom, also shows us the positive side of our timebending tendencies.

Includes 20 tried and tested tips to get you there on time!

Casual, Friendly, and Entirely Well Researched!

This book seems like having a good chat with someone who also has lateness problems, but they've been working on it for 5 years and have all sorts of insight.

This person also loves research, and has a bunch of scientific and historical insights that can be verified and implemented.

you could say, it's like having a cup of coffee with a friendly acquaintance with all the answers, and if not answers and then at least actionable tested suggestions, to help you with your lateness problems.

If you are chronically late, this is definitely a book for you. it may not cure you, but it will send you many steps in the right direction. he'll even get a little history lesson on how clocks became the universal method of keeping time instead of the good old-fashioned watching of the sun and shadows.

Finally!

Finally! a self-help book that gets me. no preaching, no push to change fundamental aspects of personality, just a framework for working with the real, fundamental tendency, to make something better.

Kept hoping it Wouk get better but it didn’t.

I finished this book in hopes it would get better but it did not. It did not provide any “how to” improve type advice but rather provided tons of “possible hypotheses as to why people are late”. It was terrible. Wish I could get my moment back. And the person that read it on audible was even worse in tone and speed. I had to put it at 2pt speed just to be a normal listening speed as it was soooooo slow. Honest review 0/10
