Publisher's Summary

Jean Marc Bulot is the mayor of Crêpe, a village famous for nothing. Where you can't even get a baguette, let alone a beer. So, when British tourists start arriving due to a faulty satnav, he decides to make some cash. He opens a bar, a restaurant, a campsite, and a shop. He even falls in love - things are going well. Until the neighboring village Ventrèche finds out, and things start going horribly wrong. Suddenly, everyone has a score to settle, including himself.

A charming and funny read with interesting concept

So many small towns and communities lose what made them thrive all over the world. Perhaps just one thing could help shake them back to life? Characters in this story were so interesting and it was great the world could come in the form of vacationers to get this odd little group of folks to revise their time. Charming and funny novel. Books can still pull you in and provide time well spent with good characters and well spun story.
