Important message but male oriented

The leadership concepts are important and worth sharing, but the leader is mainly referred to as “he” . I think the author should offer a new edition with more inclusive language to reflect the fact leaders can be, and actually are, women! The author did bring up Diana, Princess of Wales, though.

Waste of time

A collection of unactionable, long-winded anecdotes. This could easily have been a 10 minute article.

Many tips for aspiring leaders

I am an aspiring leader who will take these tips to heart and delve further. I have seen a wannabe leader who thought leading and managing al were the same thing. Domination of colleagues and subordinates does not make a leader, and in truth makes for a terrible manager as well. People can tell when you really care and when you’re just putting on a show.

Best short book! 6- end are the best chapters. But the first half is still very good.
