Publisher's Summary

It's the beginning of a new school year at Normalton University, and Dani Sloan has purchased a table for the big orientation extravaganza on the quad, determined to recruit the incoming freshmen as customers for her innovative packed-lunch business. Her food samples are a hit, but the good always seems to come with a dose of bad, and just a few days later, a man is murdered during the annual college-sponsored zombie crawl.

Once again, Dani finds herself caught up in something much more sinister than she had ever imagined when she opened her ambitious chef-to-go business - and the only way to ensure her own safety is to catch the culprit - fast.

Fantastic!

Reading the summary I wasn't all that impressed and started these just because I wanted a cozy. Well. Colour me impressed. The story has enough characters to keep it from becoming a bore and it's got romance, murder and food all thrown in. I'm disappointed that it's such a new series because I want book 3 like, now.

Once again Melissa Moran performed wonderfully. I love being told a story as opposed to being read a book.

Awesome series!

Once again Denise Swanson captivated me with the characters in this second book of the chef to go series. If you are familiar with her Scumble River series (which is a must read) you will enjoy her cross over of characters.
This story will keep you guessing until the end. Very well done! My only concern is: when is book 3 coming out!!! 5 stars for sure!!

Great book

I like Denise Swanson's writing and really enjoyed listening to this book. However, I wish the focus was more on the mystery.

GREAT READ

DANI HAS HER HANDS FULL WITH 3 COLLEGE STUDENTS WHO MAY BE LESS THAN DEPENDABLE, 2 POTENTIAL SUITORS, CHOOSING BETWEEN HELPING THE HOMELESS AND HER LIVELIHOOD, CAR JACKINGS, ZOMBIES, CREATURES FROM THE LAGOON. IT ALL MAKES FOR AN ENTERTAINING GOOD READ, AND THE READER JUST ENHANCES THE ENJOYMENT. OF COURSE, NOW I AM IMPATIENTLY AWAITING THE NEXT BOOK.

Good

I liked the story and I like the characters but I didnt like the unnatural way the author makes them talk; with too much unnecessary detail. I also would get annoyed when a character would go through an event, then retell it two more times to the other charcters....too much repetition. I liked the overall story but I dont think it's as good as the first book in the series

Really enjoyed this book

Recently listened to the first book of this series and couldn't wait for more. 'Leave No Scone Unturned' was even better then the first and I cannot wait to get the third book.
