Publisher's Summary

NBA player Leland McClain, the baby of the McClain family, is tall, handsome, talented...and spoiled. He's a man who gets what he wants, and what he wants is the lovely Kimberly Hampton.

Kim Hampton is the director of a community center, a woman who lives to help others while trying to forget a troubling past. As far as she's concerned, a relationship with any man is a horrible idea. But a relationship with Leland McClain? That's just out of the question.

He has to have her. She is undeniably attracted to him. But will she lower her guard and let him hold her?

Contains mature themes.

So steamy and so sweet

All I’ll say is this book was so much better than the first one and the first was AMAZING! This author has my money from now on. She has an official fan in me and look forward to purchasing all of her book from now on since I have already bought the ones available here on audiobook! The narration was amazing as well. Judging by the names they are African and as a Nigerian I am stanning for them both! If your like me and grew up reading Zane books (way early than I should have been) you’ll really enjoy these stories! Ge sure to read in order!

Good

The only problem I had was that nothing happened to Kim’s son. He had no consequences for his behavior. Other than that it was just as good as the other book

Could’ve been better or longer idk

I liked this story but I felt like the time as in months just moved so quickly that it seemed like I was missing a lot of info. The first book was very detailed with more drama and storytelling. I still liked their love story but I honestly wanted to hear more about Everett and Jo, I want a part 2 for them lol

Enjoyable

My new favorite author. The narration was excellent. The story was just as engaging as the first which is rare for sequels. Ready to listen to the next installment
