The world is interesting and the way to improve items is neet, The MC on the other hand... he acts like 11 year old who can't stop fidgeting in school, not ADD levels but close. Due to his attitude and cockiness a little to much plot armor/luck is needed. Shure some plot armor is needed or even encouraged in a lot of sorties, but a fair amount of it in this one is just evening out the MC. The over all story is good enough that I will probably get all the books, but the MC makes me so frustrated at times.

interesting way of improving items and buildings, mc is young and it shows he gets told what to do and goes does something else or his way and gets upset it doesn't work barely made it through the last 2 books

interesting world mc is lucky and annoying

Unlikable character's all around, making it barely worth the listen. The only saving grace is the interesting world and systems. Pacing is really slow.
