Publisher's Summary
Trust. Five Letters. One Word.
I'm the girl who doesn't let anyone in. My world was shattered and turned upside down in one night. Since then I've been trying to live, if that's what you call it, but fighting the anxiety of what happened and trusting others is hard. Each day is a struggle to reach for the unknown.
Truth. Five Letters. One Word.
I watched my father give my mother the world and the stars. She took everything from him, then left him as a broken man with nothing to live for. I told myself I'd never fall in love. I'm guarding my heart and emotions, only looking out for number one. The only way to have truth in any relationship is to stay true to yourself.
Just when you think you've got it all figured out, you realize your puzzle is unfinished. You find a piece you never thought you needed, until everything changes with one touch.
After that...you levitate.

Great book!
This audiobook was just great to listen to. The story of Max and Kensi was sweet and the characters were all memorable. Kensi has a dark time in her past which overshadows her everyday life, while Max is s somewhat jaded man who is affected by his parents relationship (a bitter one). She's afraid to let any boy close and he doesn't trust women. As they get to slowly know each other, encouraged by their best friends, they start to fall in love. Then Kensi's past comes back suddenly and everything becomes uncertain. Loved the ending and narration was superb.

Entertaining
This book kept me entertained start to finish. The plot wasn't too emotional or deep. Although the subject matter is emotional, I still didn't feel like the plot delved too deep or got too dark. I felt like the author was trying to make it an emotional read but I just never quite felt the intensity to have it hurt my heart too much.
Although I did feel the connection between the main characters, I didn't really respond to their initial meetings and the decision making of the main female character Kensington. I was a little confused that she would be so against getting close and deny the main male character and then let in a secondary character pretty immediately.
Jillian Macie wasn't my favorite narrator but I do feel her tone and age was appropriate for the character. Her male voices were forced but didn't throw me off too much. Nelson Hobbs always provides a solid performance and I looked forward to his chapters.

Bad Narration
I tried to listen to this book, but the narrators threw me of. The male voice from the female narrator was more creepy than sexy. I just couldn't very past that voice to enjoy the story.

So So Amazing
This story will show you about love loss. and learning how to move on with your life. These two not only have to figure it out for their own likes but for any chance at real love in the future. This story will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. And the narration will add that extra something that will have you wanting more. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone

It’s a No for me!
The female lead voice was okay but her male impersonation voice was damn disgusting! She makes the guys sound creepy and perverse. The plot was so drawn out it appeared to be all over the place. The female character is very naive and I struggled to like her character because some of her line of thinking was really immature..... I skipped many parts because it seemed wordy and drawn out.

I mean... I love this book!
I don't even know how to start....I still have 2 hrs left of this book but has me crying like a baby! I know there is an emotional overload still to come. I don't know why out of thousands of romance this contented me so hard but it did. For some reason I connect with the main character on a level I do with few other main characters. So obviously this is 5 star book with me.

Love it
It would have gotten 5 stars but the female narrators male voice made him sound like a creeper more than a sweet talker..... just my opinion 🤷🏼♀️
