A Good Story
Interesting plot, well written but the female narrator was excessively whiny, which made some chapters tedious.

Enjoyed the book
Liked the male female narrative . Sometimes hard to follow as it jumped back and forth a lot . All in all , Worth the time.

Fun read
A good rom read, I enjoyed both the narrators. Reed was extremely likeable but wasn’t the most interesting thing I’ve read.

This is not my usual listen but I loved it
I downloaded this title thinking it was a suspense, crime novel. but, it is more romance with a little twist. I also thought how can romance keep my interest for that long.
I was surprisingly entertained and enjoyed it very much. even a little tear at the end

Great representation of trauma and abuse
All the defence mechanisms, the mistrust, assuming the worst in people, everything is so damn accurate. The narrators made the book extremely engaging. The book is an emotional roller coaster, and made me cry at multiple points.
Reader discretion recommended. If you or someone close to you has suffered abuse, please read with caution and seek help at any point if it proves to be too much.
