She has a nice voice story is okay

Noel is a 29 year old college student who works part time at a coffee shop well also trying to take care of her alcoholic mother. She had a dead beat boyfriend in the beginning of the book but after repeatedly forgetting to pick her up (one time lead to her almost being assaulted by some guys, if it wasn’t for a new guy in town saving her)
Almost within one day her best friend up and moves out of the country and her mom is put into rehabilitation, then she’s told all about the magical world and put into hiding with four hot vampires.
Apparently she’s a life blood (able to feed the vampires as an endless supply of blood that can make them faster and stronger) yet she seems to have a mate bond with the 4 cousins something that no one understands and as far as they know hasn’t happened before.

There’s a lot of push and pull between her and the guys they want her and she wants them but then they push away. There’s some good spice, but the back and forth gets really annoying.

Then she decides it’s a good idea to go on a trip alone with 1 vampire girl without telling the guys and she gets taken 🤦‍♀️

The book is okay the rules for this vampire world are different than anything I’ve read before.

It's Okay

I haven't finished the book yet and I'll update the review if I manage to finish but so far I'm finding this one a bit hard to get through. Everything seems to move really fast in this book, but I find there isn't enough time to fully explain or pace things in a way that would make it easier for the reader/ listener to fully grasp. I find myself having to rewind this audiobook to make sure that I didn't miss some pieces of information.

The love interests of this book are also described as perfect looking one too many times and too good to be true but it's done in a way that almost makes it feel less impactful. The characters are all in college but they act and say things that you would hear as if they were in high school instead. Until someone mentions college classes, I forget that they are in fact college students.

Again, I will continue to keep listening but so far this has been a bit of a struggle.
