Elite Medical Advice

I was excited about this book. But within a few chapters I realized that most of the content refers to medical treatments only available to rich people. Obviously at the end it touches on the basics, sleep, nutrition, stuff you can research on the internet or you know but just aren’t doing.

Like who can afford to go to Spain and all these other places and doctors to get a million opinions and state of the art treatments.

Most people have limited options because they’re health care or benefits only cover certain accepted treatments. I found this so fricken annoying. Like if I was a gazillionaire like Robbins of course I would be tapping into everything possible to recover and heal and slow the aging process.

Even the medical advancements that are covered in this will take god knows how many years if ever before it’s available to the everyday person, working full time and struggling to pay bills. Kinda a slap in the face. (Well except for the elite)

Disappointed in the end

This is a long book- but it needs to be as there is so much good news out there and I believe Tony is more than scratching the surface. I go way back listening to Tony Robbins- way back. I still have the 12 cassette program I bought in 1990. Anyhow, this is about his latest book which reads a lot like a commercial-advertising for stuff you want, need, and cannot afford. But if you can afford it, you’re one of those folks in the top 1%, the wealthy. Not the regular cabin fare folk like me.
I appreciated hearing of all the great technology for heart mind and body health. Just what I wanted! Really! I’ve been socking away some cash for a new scuba set up, but when I heard this book, I was like, Hell with the scuba gear, we’re gonna get some tests! I truly want to know where I’m at in health terms.
I eat a plant based diet for nearly 4 years. Vegetarian for 3 years before that. I bicycle, run, swim and pump iron as much as I can. But I don’t get enough sleep for sure. I was on high blood pressure meds for 35 years and got off them a few years ago, finally. So tests are what I need to see exactly where I am in the health lifeline. But not to be had.
Do Some research, and you will uncover that, in order to get these tests at FountainLife, you’ll need to dole out TODAY (no payment terms) $19,500 to get the battery of tests Tony speaks so fondly of in his book. That’s not a misprint friends. Now subsequent years are $5K cheaper and so are family members!
The book, is really a verbal brochure for Fountain Life. It’s an ad to get financial backers for elite health clinics. I’d never heard the term concierge doctor before this book. But what i envisioned it meant is exactly true. It’s elite health care. Tony mentions at least a dozen times, different projects/companies that he is an investor in. I cannot imagine how many places he invests in. This isn’t sour grapes what I’m writing. I think it’s great that the wealthy invest in to give back. But in the end, these investments more time than not pay back nicely. It gets mundane hearing. I’m an investor in……
He’s not bragging, it’s disclosure, and it’s said very matter of factly.
Tony mentions in the book he has at least 12 PEMF machines. Checking into this technology, the cheapest one is $13,500. (And he owns 12?!) I’d buy one of his extras from him. Actually why buy. They’re obviously worthless old technology he could probably donate a unit to me, or someone in need.
I still respect the guy (and his investor book buddies too.)
For a lot of people listening to this book, the info is a fantastical pipe dream.
So at least for now, I will have to bank on my good diet and activity level to lead me to and keep me in, good health. The technology to PROVE to me, my family and friends does not exist in our world. And I thought my leading by example was going to finally get some much needed support!
So in the end, even with all the good news, the greatest new technology and the great stories of success, it’s not for the lions share of people. (Yet)

Brutal

I tried to get into this, but it reads more like a giant sensationalized advertisement. Can find no support for most of the great breakthrough treatments he is describing, so clearly it is not accessible to the general public, if it is available at all short of going to Mexico. And the subtext is all about Tony and him investing in all of these companies... more hype from TR that doesn't add up to much unfortunately.

Verbal diaria

Typical Anthony Robbins, take some forever to get to the point. what could take 5 minutes, takes hundreds an hour. I'm 2 hours in and I haven't learned anything. he's told stories about his wife's mother getting cancer, going to the Vatican, traveling the world, Dr Bob. To be honest at one point I stopped listening. If you're looking for information about stem cell therapy and you don't have the time to waste. I would pass on this book.

Fantastic!

What a wonderful detailed education I have just received. I found that I was drawn to being mindful & fully aware during each chapter and took my time listening to the cutting edge information in each chapter. I love that there is/will be a Fountain Life facility in Toronto! Will explore & embrace the testing & tools shared in this book. Enjoyed listening & learning while I walked! Thank you!

A wealth of health knowledge

As like many Tony Robbins fans I believed this book to be a little more upbeat. There’s definitely some chapters and narrations that can get a little bit dry, but the information regardless is immensely important in helping people understand health overall for the world is making huge advancements, and most people would never know about majority of this. Just like Tony tells you in the beginning chapters of the book. This book is not meant to be read front to back because it can be an overwhelming wealth of knowledge. It’s meant to be looked at chapter by chapter for whatever health section intrigues you or hits home with you or someone you know. I would 100% recommend this book to anybody who is looking to advance their own life healthwise, as well as to recommend it to anyone who is currently struggling healthwise.

Not what I expected

Not what I expected from Tony Robbins. I was expecting something more motivational about health and happiness. I wish I can get my credit back

Extremely valuable

Thorough and uplifting. Worth a credit.
Tony is a positivity powerhouse. First book I’ve read by him recommended by Cathy Heller.
