Super sweet

Just a really sweet second chance/surprise baby book.

You will experience all of the feels.

Amanda Stribling does a great job narrating.

I would highly recommend this if you are in the mood for a short listen that really packs a punch.

I was hesitant on this book because it was free...I’m glad I did

Every free book I’ve got with honest review has been awful. I couldn’t even finish because of the narrator. I’m so happy I did.
Only complain is...I wish there were dual narrators. She didn’t change her voice for the males. But she did a great job for the females voices

The story was great. A good sweet story with a touch of sadness and drama. I do feel things moved a little fast but over all a great book

I most definitely am going to listen to the rest of the series

Great Listen!

This was a cute, sweet romance. I enjoyed reading Liv and Luke's story. Luke has been in love with Liv since their junior year but he missed the chance when his best friend Adam swooped in first. After graduation he leaves and gets to forget about her. Years later tragedy has him seeing her again and he realizes his feelings are still there. A confession at her husband's funeral (she is pregnant) has him going to help her pack up. In the midst of things he finds out she has no where to go and knowing she has no family offers her help and invites her to move in with him. During all this we encounter an angry girlfriend, feelings are reawakening and new ones discovered, reunited with old friends and buried secrets are revealed.

All the feels!

Books that give so many feels are so satisfying and Kelsie Rae's Liv does just that. Told mostly from Liv's point of view, we get to take her journey from grief to a second chance at love. Liv's husband Adam dies unexpectedly. She is only 23, pregnant and scared. When Luke, Adam's best friend comes to her aid, things begin to look up. But will Luke's high school crush on Liv still come into play? Kelsie Rae's debut novel is low angst, heart breaking and heart warming. I enjoyed Liv's life changing experiences, learning to deal with pregnancy, deciding what is best for her and her baby and her interactions with Luke. I loved Luke's protectiveness and constant second guessing of what is right for him. It made the story more realistic for me. It's a slow burn, passionate and loving. I really enjoyed the story.

Amanda Stribling brings her talent to this story. She has an emotional voice, perfect for Liv. She gives her the warmth and depth to make her story ring true. She easily transitions to Luke with his voice strong and full of feeling. He is a compassionate man and you can feel it through her narration. Another great listen!

Great story!

Liv is a great book. It really makes you think: what if I were in the situation of Liv? Very few books leave me thinking about them once I've finished, but this one definitely is stuck in my mind. I honestly felt invested in the characters and didn't want it to end.

Audio quality was good. I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Liv and Luke

A great romance read / listen. I really enjoyed the story line and flow. Loved the dual point of view and how well the author put that together - it didn't come across as repetitive like it so easily could have. Great characters and chemistry. A love triangle between Liv and best friends Adam and Luke. Some heart breaks as well as heart warming moments with a perfect HEA ending.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Great characters, charming and emotional romance!

When I first read the blurb of Kelsie Rae’s debut novel, Liv, I knew I wanted to read it. I love books that are emotional and angst-filled, and Liv had it in spades. I recently had an opportunity to listen to Liv and I loved it! The narrator, Amanda Stribling, did an amazing job bringing Liv and Luke to life for me. I loved it and could not stop listening to it!

Liv married her high school sweetheart. Her life could not be any more perfect. Then tragedy hits and she loses her husband. The last thing she expected was to find out she was pregnant on the day she says goodbye to her husband. Now her entire life is turned upside down.

Luke, Liv and Adam were best friends in high school. But Luke had a secret. When he and Adam have a falling out, he walks out of their lives. He was never supposed to see them again. But when Adam dies, he goes back to say goodbye to his best friend. When he sees Liv needs help, he cannot help but step in.

I loved Liv and Luke. Liv was heartbroken after her loss and was trying to find a way to move forward and provide for her child. Even as she deals with her grief. Luke was so protective of Liv. He was sweet and caring. He put his life on hold for Liv. Both characters were so relatable and likable.

The more time Luke and Liv spend together; you can see their chemistry. Both characters had so much to give each other. There was drama, angst, emotions and so many other things in their way, but going through their journey, you could see how much they belonged together.

I absolutely loved Liv by Kelsie Rae. She gave us amazing characters and a story that will consume you. This was a beautiful story of love, hope and second chances from a debut author.

Happy listening!

Awesome: Double Check

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. This was an awesome story. Liv is adorable, and pregnant and Luke is the hottest, and her dead husband's best friend. What a combination. Leaves you wondering where this story is going. The author did an excellent job with this story. The narrator did a great job with the characters and the different personalities to include Luke's family and Adam's mother. She brought the story to life.
