Publisher's Summary

During her morning exercise, yoga instructor Cam Saunders finds herself rescuing a young woman who has walked into the sea, seemingly intent on taking her own life. When the woman in question turns out to be a famous actress, Cam promises to keep her secret safe.

Six months later, America’s sweetheart Ella Temperley is working hard to get her life back on track, grieving the loss of her twin sister and fighting a deep depression. Despite her fame, she feels alone in the world and keeps thinking of the woman she owes her life to.

After Ella shows up in Cam’s life again, the two become closer than they ever imagined possible. But what happens when friendship turns into attraction? Living is a slow-burn coming-out romance about loss, love, and life.

great story. you won't be disappointed

You will probably read many good reviews and see many 5 and 4 star ratings for this romance. Please believe them all. If you like a really moving & gripping story, populated by relateable, loveable (and some hateable🙄) characters, you will love this.
I listened to one Lise Gold book before this one, and I really liked it. But this is just in another league. If you like writers like Kris Bryant and even Georgia Beers and Melissa Braden, please give this a try. It is so well written, ,sweet and hot and I found that I didn't want to miss a word. Never listened to this narrator before, but I am now going to look out for anything else she does. What a find 😎

I thoroughly enjoyed this story

Lise Gold has written a wonderful story that grabbed my attention from the first word and TJ Richards has done a fabulous job of bringing the characters to life. The way Lise brings in the subjects of depression, suicide, mental health and shows that with therapy someone can come back from the brink of suicide and learn to live again and be happy.

I could easily distinguish between characters and that is a big thing for me. If I'm constantly trying to figure out who is suppose to be talking\thinking then it's tough to follow the story. Well done TJ Richards.

Great Use of Dialogue

Ms. Gold really knows how to make her characters sound real. I typically like faster paced stories but I decided to take my time with this one and am so glad I did. Just sit back and let a good story teller take you away. And someone please tell TJ Richards that someone in Texas has a horrible crush on her reading skills. And thus her voice. Just sayin'...

Wow

That was a beautiful story. I really needed a story like this in my life. Happy, sexy, serious, silly, sad. Enough happy, sexy, and silly to make dealing with the serious and sad worth it and leave me smiling and giggling more often than not. TJ Richards did an amazing job as always. I could easily differentiate who was speaking at any given time, her voice is pleasant to listen to, and her pacing is on point.

Sweet! More depth than other books in this genre

I appreciated that the friendship and relationship between the main characters was developed slowly and showed more depth than most books in this genre. I couldn't relate to all the hoopla about a character being a 'celebrity', but maybe one has to live in Hollywood or Los Angeles to believe anyone would get excited about an actor or actress. Otherwise, sweet and uplifting story.

Great book!

The narration stuttered a bit at the beginning but smoothed out after the first few chapters. I’m wagering it had something to do with the very serious dialogue in the beginning of the story. Other than that the story was fantastic, and the narrator did a great job. I will definitely seek out more work by both Lise Gold and TJ Richards.

What a great Story & Audiobook!

(I was lucky enough to get a code for this audiobook and I stated In return I would leave an honest review) ⬇️

For Ella nobody tells you how awful it is when somebody you love dies. Nobody tells you how long you’ll be in pain. This is how this story begins. We find Ella a famous actress wanting nothing more then to end her pain by taking her own life. Then you have Cam who see’s this “literally” and ends up rescuing said woman. There is an immediate connection between the two and the story goes from there. I love both of these characters and the way the story plays out. Nothing threw out the story seems rushed and It’s definitely a slow burn romance that goes threw its passes. I found that this story hits a lot of truths when it comes to the struggles Ella must go threw to get past such loss. Fortunately for her she has Cam to help her threw...
I without a doubt loved the story when I first read the book. It’s the same with the audiobook. T J Richards also does a wonderful job in narrating this story. She drew me in and kept me into the story to the very end. Bravo to Both Lisa Gold & TJ Richards for putting together an audiobook I will definitely listen to again. 5⭐️
