I’m a couple hours in and every character is the most idiotic or the most jerk version of their stereotype. I can’t stand to listen to any more of these people interact with each other. They all deserve each other and I hope the book ends with them all failing

combat stunted and dumb, characters thuggish and stupid. cultural incompatibilities make this a rough read for western audiences with the added bonus of immaturity. Not a valid female character in the whole shebang and the men aren't much better.
