Publisher's Summary

I never claimed to be a good girl, but I definitely never asked for this.

Killian, Tristian, and Rath.

These three men are a part of my past - one that I'd rather never look in the eye again. In high school, they knew my secrets and I knew theirs. They had power and I had nothing. The night everything fell apart, my stepbrother allowed his two best friends to take their rage out on me while he watched. While they laughed.

But what happened that night wasn’t my biggest secret. So I ran, planning on never coming back.

Three years later I’m standing on their doorstep like a stray. They’re more powerful than ever now, having risen to the rank of Lords at Forsyth University. But I’m still on the run and there's another monster chasing me down.

What could bring me back into their lives, their homes, and ultimately, their beds?

Fear.

Shame.

Desperation.

Killian, Rath, and Tristian aren’t the only ones who want me. There’s someone far more dangerous out there who's been stalking me since I left town the first time. Someone who makes the evil I know feel less dangerous than the evil I don’t.

But being their Lady is more than just fancy clothes and reputation.

I might be under their protection, but I’m also at their mercy.

And there's nothing a Lord loves more than taking control.

Interesting bully romance

I enjoyed this, though I hesitate when there are scenes with high schoolers. Most of it is taking place in a college and that makes it a bit more barable.
Check triggers before going into this one, it can be rough at times.

Epic and dark!

This series is amazing. I love dark romances and this one had so many twists and turns.

Deliciously sinister

I have been looking for a bully romance book that is this good for months. As sinister, or even more with the psychological trauma as the physical situation the lead finds herself in.
If you like bully romances that DON’T have a HEA then this book is for you - warning it’s not a self contained book it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger

It’s fine

It was fine… I don’t really know what else to say about the story. I hate not finishing books so I powered through to the end. I doubt I’ll read the next. Im mildly curious about how the guys can be redeemed. Im mildly curious about Ted. But I literally can’t stand story.

I don’t know if it was the voice actors, or the story… but I just couldn’t care about any of the characters much.

I like dark romance. The darker the better. Dubious and non consent I’m a-ok with. But something about how this story approached it was gross? Maybe the HEAVY virginal aspects? It felt like she was a child being taken advantage of by grown men. And even further than the heavy heavy heavy virginal tones of the story (literally how often can it be thrown into a story?) the writing made her mental and emotional state seem like she was a child. It was just, icky.., lol

The male voices were SOOOOO pompous it was hard to handle lol. I expect that for the “villain” in the story. But trying to get caught up in the love I ate rest sounding like a snively frat boy was really rough.

I guess I just had higher expectations as this came highly recommended and I don’t really get it.

Not a romance

This is cruelty, rape and mind games that don’t profit the heroine. If you are hoping for a villain changing because of love, nope! I regret taking the 2 for 1 special on this series.

I wish 0 stars was a possible rating.

As expected, this book is garbage. I promised I’d give bully romances a try and this was the one recommended to me most. But it’s beyond terrible and I’m done. Even the hot sex scenes don’t make up for the rest of the drivel. And I’m sorry but the male narrator couldn’t have been any worse. Can’t blame him because this would have been awful to record. But I understand, we all have to pay the bills so no judgment from me.

Bad Narration of a Bully Reverse Harem Dark Romance

I’ve read multiple reviews and have heard that Book 1 of this story is the darkest, and subsequent books are much less. There were some elements of kindness that seeped into the treatment of the FMC, but they were all for pure manipulative purposes — a frat boys’ “game”. The storyline did keep me going waiting to see how things would evolve, but it was the narration that spoiled it. I enjoyed the performance of the female narrator doing Story, and, while not my fave, I was ok with the male narrator doing the parts of the MMCs. However, when the woman did a male voice, it was dreadfully grating and not believable, and the male’s voice of Story when he was in MMC mode made her sound like what I imagine a castrated deer sounds like. I’ve listened to a lot of audiobooks, and there’s a huge difference in the quality of the performances. For two narrators, it’s always better to have duet narration which each sticking to performances coinciding with their own genders. For the remainder of the books here in this story, I won’t be wasting my credits on the audio versions as they’re the same narrators. I’ll be purchasing the Kindle formats and reading electronically. Fingers crossed the story improves. Believe me, the audio sample for this book on Audible was totally unrepresentative of the performances to come.
