Hollywood taught me everything I know about relationships - except how to be in one. As an actor, I became an expert at faking it. Faking that I wasn't affected by my childhood. Faking that I was okay. Faking that I knew how to save the day, the girl, the whole damn world. But I've always known the truth - I’m no one's hero. Until I’m forced to move back to Sugarloaf for six months, and Brenna Allen offers me a chance to prove otherwise. She’s everything I never knew I wanted, but can't have. Her broken heart, perfect face, and adorable children turn my world upside down.

Publisher's Summary
Owen Shaw and his "brothers" lost everything, their entire existence erased. Science had robbed he and all the Lost Boys of their memories and their past, but not their future. Hunted by every intelligence agency in the world, they are focused on two goals: Find a cure for what was done to them and ensure that the technology that ruined their lives doesn't get out into the world. Rebecca Walsh might be the key to achieving both. Owen has been studying her closely, living in her building, and he cannot resolve how such a beautiful, giving woman could have helped design the evil process that destroyed his past.
Dr. Rebecca Walsh has dedicated her life to researching the secrets of the mind. Her atmospheric rise in her field was fueled by the horror of watching her mother's agonizing journey into madness at the hands of a disease with no cure. She vowed to never rest until she finds it. But obsession takes a heavy toll, and when Owen moves into her building, she realizes how much of her life she has missed out on. Owen opens her eyes to a whole new world, filled with joy, laughter, and possibly love.
Owen and Rebecca grow closer, unraveling more about each other and the mysteries surrounding her connection to Hope McDonald. As the sinister forces working against the Lost Boys descend on Toronto, secrets long buried are uncovered that could shatter the bonds holding the Lost Boys together and cost Rebecca her life.

Pretty good story moves the overall narrative along
The very cavalier killing by Levi Green, CIA villain, Is disturbing given he is also described as charming and he apparently deceived Solo. The other violence is more self defense. This chapter in the storyline is about Owen, a red headed Scot and not the dark haired guy on the cover. Owen is one of the Lost Boys from Theo Taggert’s story and Rebecca, a young brilliant Doctor who is focused on finding a cure for Alzheimer’s, and who inadvertently assisted the late evil Hope McDonald in developing the formula to wipe away memory and assist in brainwashing. Lots of action and sex as this couple learns to trust themselves, each other, and some of the team. The story was interesting and the narration by Ryan West was good but not great. He did a good job with Owen’s Scottish accent when Owen talks to other characters but when he is musing in his head his accent drops and he speakers in American English. Also he does well with one possible 2 female voices but since we have several female characters in this book it gets confusing at times. Why not do a dual or duet performance with these books and add a female narrator? Overall the book is an enjoyable choice for fans of the McKay Taggert series.

Excellent!!!
Excellent narrator, story, characters and some "laugh out loud" hilarity too. The Canadian references were amusing too. Definitely my favourite Lexi Blake story about the Taggart crew. Ryan West's mastery of the female voices has really grown over the years. The male character voices were always incredible, but now the female voices and "realness" of those female characters is superb.

My Thoughts on Lost and Found
Lexi Blake brings readers another amazing story with the newest book in The Forgotten series.
I loved Owen just as much as I loved Jax in the previous book, but in a whole different way.
Owen had some serious mental and emotional baggage in this story. He is haunted by past actions and the things he can't remember. His outlook was very bleak until he met Becca.
Becca was a great character (not that I expected any less from Lexi Blake). She was smart and funny and awkward but confident all at the same time. She was a real breath of fresh air for Owen.
Theirs was the kind of relationship you just enjoy watching develop. You smile in those little moments they reveal more of themselves to each other. You really get to read and experience them falling in love.
Overall this book rang all my bells and checked all my boxes. I look forward to reading more in this series and from this author.
The narrator Ryan West is a new one for me, but his performance was fantastic. I loved all the accents and the emotion he put in when called for. Plus his female voice was one of the better ones I've heard by male narrators. I wouldn't hesitate to listen to more by him in future.

Fantastic writing, fantastic narration
The second book in the series spin off from the hugely popular Masters and Mercenaries. Lost and Found got to me so much.
Rescued by McKay Taggart, 6 men wander the world no longer knowing their true identities. Used as experiments they have had their memories stripped from them and they all react in varying ways.
This is Owen Shaw’s story and that of the woman who despite himself he comes to love, Dr Rebecca (Becca) Walsh.
Becca is a woman totally fixated on helping others, often to her own detriment. Her focus is seeking a cure for the disease that took her mother’s life and she has no time for love. There were times that Owen nearly broke my heart, he lives with the guilt that has almost destroyed him and the knowledge that people he loved died (his mother and sister) because of him and he betrayed his team to try and save his family. The burden is so hard to bare that sometimes he just wants to give up.
Initially in Toronto to scope out Becca the team believe that she may be the key to unlocking some, if not all of their secrets. However when Becca and Owens’ past comes back to haunt them, danger will rear it’s head. In fact the secrets that have been buried for so long may well destroy the Lost Boys too.
Will Owen be able to keep Becca safe or will he lose the woman who has come to mean so much to him?
Lost and Found is filled with suspense, danger, intrigue and the growth of a deep and committed love; one that made my heart pound at times. Lexi Blake always ensure that her characters are never one dimensional or superficial and I was engrossed from the first chapter to the last. As always it was great to see some familiar faces pop into the book.
I cannot wait to see what Ms.Blake has in store for the rest of The Lost Boys as they seek to find their past and in doing so find their future. In my humble opinion she is in a class of her own.
Ryan West did an outstanding job narrating and the voice he used for Owen is amazing.

Good book, excellent narrator
Interesting book, lots of action & intrigue .
Story 3 stars (couldve been four but deducted one star for the D&s interruptions)
Narration great, 5 stars so overall rating now four.
Small detail, should've used same photo of model on book version for this audio (as Owen's a red head too) 😉
