Publisher's Summary

New York Times best-selling author Tessa Bailey returns with a unique, sexy romantic comedy about a young married couple whose rocky relationship needs a serious renovation....

Rosie and Dominic Vega are the perfect couple: high school sweethearts, best friends, madly in love. Well, they used to be, anyway. Now, Rosie’s lucky to get a caveman grunt from the ex-soldier every time she walks in the door. Dom is faithful and a great provider, but the man she fell in love with 10 years ago is nowhere to be found. When her girlfriends encourage Rosie to demand more out of life and pursue her dream of opening a restaurant, she decides to demand more out of love, too. Three words: marriage boot camp.

Never in a million years did Rosie believe her stoic, too-manly-to-emote husband would actually agree to relationship rehab with a weed-smoking hippie. Dom talking about feelings? Sitting on pillows? Communing with nature? Learning love languages? Nope. But to her surprise, he’s all in, and it forces her to admit her own role in their cracked foundation. As they complete one ridiculous - yet surprisingly helpful - assignment after another, their remodeled relationship gets stronger than ever. Except just as they’re getting back on track, Rosie discovers Dom has a secret...and it could demolish everything.

Real life marriage problems

So refreshing to read a book about real marriage problems where there wasn’t cheating or some big unforeseen catastrophe. Just two people working on their flaws and strengthening their communication.

Tessa never fails

Love, love, LOVE this book! I tried to just listen only when I was exercising but I started hiding my AirPods under my hair and listening while my husband and kids tried to talk to me. I couldn’t stop! Can’t wait for Bethany’s story!

Intriguing and well narrated

This book was a great follow up to Fix Her Up. Right away the author got you sucked into Dominic and Rosie’s story— the well developed characters keep you invested right from the start! The narration was excellent - Charlotte North did a great job of voicing the different characters without them sounding cheesy or fake.

Good book, well performed

Aside from the fact that the therapist in this book essentially committed malpractice and could NEVER get away with what he pulled 3x over— this was a good and entertaining book.

Second chance story

What can I say, besides I absolutely loved this book. It’s a second chance romance, with all the feels. Firstly, I have to say I absolutely love Tessa Bailey and she hasn’t disappointed me with this book. This is a story of Rosie and Dominic and they have been together since high school. After several years of just do-existing, Rosie has had enough. She wants more..... can Dom save is marriage before it’s too late. This is the second book in the series, it can read as a stand-alone, but highly recommend reading in the order. Do your a favour and read or listen to this book now.

I was disappointed

I really liked Fix her up and looked forward to this book. I thought the sex scenes were so ridiculous that I fast forwarded through the last ones. I really didn’t like the Dominic character. Even at the end. When Rosie was dealing on the building he has to be the macho man and make the purchase. I hope the next book is better than this one.

This story needed a male and female narrator

The story felt incomplete, but a male capable of an East Coast accent would have done wonders. Dominic's portrayal was cringe worthy (it pulled me out of the story at times). Also, I thought this would be a cute romance novel. I didn't realize it was a series/ borderline porn.
