Unfortunately the narrator’s mispronunciation and obvious lack of experience in reading aloud makes this production a painful listen. Hopefully he has gotten better over the years as he has a pleasant voice. That combined with the material saves this from being a complete write-off.

Poor narration

Poor inflection and strange emphasizing of syllables accompanied by a general lack of understanding in sentence structure. Poorly matched accent, or rather, his accent is both dull and heard through what one can only presume are marbles in the mouth. Save your money for a version read by someone who actually likes Jane Austen and isn’t learning to read in the course of his performance.
