They strike a bargain, one that has Venice giving up her freedom. But soon it's her heart that's at greater risk. It's easy loving Deviant...even when others are determined to make it difficult.

this story is definitely the sweetest of the ball the pureness of innocence of deviant is just breathtaking he's so precious I like this one's plot it's more of an emotional connection story than physical connection which is a good change-of-pace and works beautifully for these two characters to connect and develop. just getting to see the harsher side of the female cyborgs is one of my favorite elements and seeing that cruelty be placed upon their children as well is very interesting. as always I love this series I can't seem to put it down and I would highly recommend.

it's still an amazing audio book. love listening to it. As a matter of fact, the entire series is amazing. i really enjoyed it.

Loving Deviant is a great addition to Laurann Dohner’s Cyborg series. Venice is badly injured in a car crash on earth and deemed “irreparable”. Earth government locks her in a facility for 4 years to steal her rare blood to sell to rich people. A secret group, calling themselves “Angels” breaks her out, gives her replacement parts, and sends her on her way. Venice goes for a deep space bridal registry to get her off earth. Unbeknownst to Venice, she is being lured into a deep space brothal which services space pirates, and the women who work there end up with secondary radiation poisoning passed on by the pirates. Enter Deviant...

Deviant is a free Cyborg, born on Garden, the android home-world. Due to a drug his mother took to help conceive him, Deviant falls far below the Cyborg ideal of perfection. Sent by his father to have 12 hours of sex practice with sexbots in a brothel, to improve his chances of impressing a female, Deviant is spied by Venice. Will two lonely people work it out? Who knows?

I feel that the reader did her best. Breathing loudly, inappropriate pauses, and a husky, smoker’s voice (or someone with a cold,) made this reading like nails on a blackboard the first time through. But I love the story.
