Publisher's Summary
A year after a messy break-up with her stripper ex-boyfriend, seamstress Trevia McCall is still feeling the after-effects of his betrayal...and their mind-numbing sex life. She's done with him, but her subconscious mind and body haven't gotten the memo.
Spoken word artist Nyles Adams is the kind of man Trevia loves to love - handsome, talented, and cocky as hell. But as far as she's concerned, he's everything she wants and nothing that she needs.
Could it be possible that Trevia and Nyles were made to love each other?

Didn't dissapoint
I liked this book as much as I usually like books by this author, but it took me a minute to become involved in their story for some reason. Still, using Jakobi Diem as a narrator is always a good idea as he portrays exactly the enticing male voice needed for a masculine narration.

Satisfying
I LOVED reading the book
I love this series as much as the others from Alexandria House
And I LOVED the chosen narrators
Jakobi Diem could read the news and I’d listen—he’s definitely a great fit for her books.
All around 5Star!

Story and Jakobi 🔥🔥🔥
Why couldn't Jakobi read all of Niles Poems! Mari couldn't even pronounce 2Pac's name correctly. This is one of my favorite stories. Niles' Poems are Everything and Mari ruined them. 😔

terrible
character development is horrible. love at first sight? why? bcz she was wearing red? no examples of her having this good heart he kept speaking of. no examples of building this relationship. he was extremely jealous and borderline toxic. she got over being sprung on the ex bcz of new dick. poetry dude comes off like a lame and she thirsty af. she picked him bcz he had a hobby/career, his own place, and a nice car. and she's his one bcz of a red outfit and some funny colored eyes?? The Female Narrator Is Horrible!!!
I just did not like Made to Love. I am honestly surprised at all of the 5 star ratings this book got. The author's writing style changed drastically between this series and The McClain Brothers series. It's almost like both series were written by two different authors. I didn't like Trevia at all and I hate when I dislike the heroin of any book. She spent too much time whining about how Wesley dogged her out that, she almost missed her blessing with Nyles. One of the things that really annoyed me with the audiobook was, every time there was a scene where Nyles would read his poems, the female narrator would read them and she did a horrible job! It made no sense that the male narrator didn't read the spoken word parts of the novel since that was the male character was the poet. As I said in my previous review of Higher Love, the female narrator ruined the book. Null Mari has a very mature sounding voice. Too mature to narrate characters who are in their early 30's. She sounds like a 50 year old woman which, makes it hard to get into the characters. She doesn't change the sound of her voice when she reads the male characters and all of the female characters sound the same. She just did a really bad job narrating this book. Even the sex scenes were unimpressive and boring. At this point, I'm ready to finish this series just to be done with it. I will not revisit any of these books.

Bummer rang
Normally I love her books the story line are loving and to the point. The problem I had with this particular book is that it Mirrors book one.. same love sort .. someone playing hard to get .. eventually they give in .. someone messes up walks away.. realize they sill are in love run back end of story... I needed more cliff hangers ,stress and sex.. just my opinion

Jakobi, I just love love love your voice!!
I enjoyed the story. But, please no more Mari. I wasn’t convinced by her. She had way too many chapters to herself. It takes away from the story. I had to replay every chapter that she did several times. Mari’s voice is very mature and sounds like she should be doing 50 and older storylines.
Now I love Alexandria House books, the stories are great. Jakobi for the win!! He makes sex sound so amazing and believable.
I am gonna listen to the last book in this series, but my struggle is still Mari.
