Story
Whether they were a snake-haired gorgon, a colorful slime woman, or a 15 feet tall Oni, they were free to live peacefully in Pluma Territory. For many of the creatures, living peacefully was something they never dared even dream of, so it was only natural that they traveled from all over the continent to reach his territory. If only the humans would let them. Sometimes it was guards in a neighboring territory killing them for sport, sometimes it was a village stealing all of their supplies, and sometimes it was slavers attempting to profit.

Publisher's Summary
When Clark bought a discount catgirl at a pawnshop he knew they were supposed to do your dishes, clean your house, and cook your meals. He even knew they were supposed to fulfill your every desire.
What he didn’t know was that once you have one, your life gets turned upside down especially because you can’t have just one.
Please Note: This is a catgirl harem book where you can create your own catgirl to suit your every last whim while taking down an evil corporation.

BAD, not good at all. Some small spoilers ahead.
I don’t know where to begin... this book was not enjoyable at all! the MC is hard to like and all over the place. The other people are thin plot points that for some reason adore the MC for no reason and do things that make no sense at all, the bad guys are morons... so the MC meets a nice old man at the beginning of the book who after knowing the MC for a few hours decides to talk the MC into fighting in a (maybe?) underground fight club where the fighters fight over a big pit of dirty needles and to win you have to knock the other fighter into the pit... yeah A huge pit full of dirty bloody needles... so this old man gets him to fight and he wins, the old man gets a finders fee for his fighter winning but then the old man goes on to say that he didn’t know about the fee and he didn’t do it for money... but then it never explains why this nice old man who has never fought and doesn’t know about the fee somehow knew how to get him into the fight? And these fights are supposed to be so secret that only two people in this small town that can’t have more the one or two restaurants know about it... but the arena can hold almost a thousand people and it fills up each week for these fights and a big party after... this book is so full of people and events that are so unexplained that it made my eye start to twitch... I like dumb smutty harem books and don’t expect a lot from them, but this book? OMG none of the characters are likable or have consistent personalities... the sex scenes aren’t even that good.. and the fights are blah... it’s a mess and not in a good way.
On the plus side the narrator is awesome, she does a great job with a bad book.

Too much cringe
I honestly couldn’t fully listen to the chapters I skipped all the cringe. At a point I’ve started skipping chapters. It’s really hard to listen to and the writing is really bad.

lot of food porn
The woman doing the voice was amazing I'll look for her in the future the book was OK. Once you're done with it nothing really to remember about it like a dime-a-dozen romance novel. A few Erotic scenes but all to metely nothing goes anywhere nothing memorable. If you've got headphones and just trying to pass the time or trying to fall asleep it's not a horrible book but ultimately nothing I would have picked up on my own had I not had credits to spare.

Good start to what could be a great series
Don't let the naysayer fool you. The girls are a bit robotic at first but warm to endearing characters. The performance of the narrator is not bad. I'm very much looking forward to more from this series.

Bad all around.
Unlikeable characters, nonsensical story, and a very monotone narrator. Give it a pass unless you have an extra credit burning a hole in your pocket with literally nothing else to use it on.

it's silly, it's fun, it's worth a shot.
There's no groundbreaking stuff here. It's just a fun story about a MC that has a string of luck and ends up with everything a hot blooded cat girl loving man would want. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series to be released on audible.

Ready for next two books to be made into audiobook
I liked this book enough that I will wait in anticipation for the next two books to be made into audio books. I also enjoy his other books and story lines. I recommend checking out all his books here or using Kindle Unlimited if you like reading as well.

there were a few truly cringy parts, and the plot was a bit mediocre but other than that it was an entertaining read. the narrator did an excellent job full marks there.
