very good read
I will preface this review by saying two things: 1. I listen to most audible books at 1.2x speed and 2. This is a m/m paranormal, mystery and romance.
With that said, I did a general search for paranormal mystery and romance and this book came up. I decided to chance it and used a credit and I am glad I did. This book was surprisingly good, though it was pretty easy to guess who was behind it from the start, even with the author throwing in new suspects into the fray.
I won't ruin it for anyone as I believe that if you have a credit, this book is well worth the listen. The narrator was also very good as well, so it made the book an enjoyable listen. Typically 12hr romance books grate on my nerves as most authors forget the story in preference for the sexy times and I then find myself scrolling through pages of smut. Not the case with this book and for that, I was thankful.
I will say that Graham was especially annoying and at times I was overly concerned by the author's choice of this character's personality and I was hoping this wasn't going to be the typical enemies to lovers type of book where one second they hate each other and two seconds later they are madly in love, but as the story evolved, I understood why his character needed to be the way it was.
Other than that, I was super pleased with the book.

excellent!
This is a new author for me and I really like her work. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come to audible. JF Harding was awesome as usual.
