Great Story

I loved the story line although the narrater was a bit jaring. I found some of the voices overdone. Great story though.

Great story

I have always liked murder she wrote!!! It was a good read, I love the lady who read this. I don’t like the lady that did the other ones. So this is the only one I have listed too.

Brings back Sunday Memories

When we were kids my grandparents would let us watch the show. Now that I am an adult to be able to read along with a wonderful narrorator Beth Porter brings up wonderful Sunday memories. I am hooked and can not wait to get into the next book. We'll written, easy to follow, each character has there own part and voice. I enjoy this so much thank you so much

Excellent story but the narration is jarring

I found the plot and structure of this novel to be very engaging. However, as talented as an narrator is, I don't think she captures the personality or essence of the main character, Jessica Fletcher. Instead of being warm and highly likable, the well-known character from the television show comes across as prickly, hypercritical, and prudish. well some of this may be from the text itself, I think a lot of it is from the spin that the narrator puts on key lines.

Not for me

I mainly struggled to finish it. I remember the show, however I think the characters just didn't speak to me, the main character just seemed grating on me. The voice actress wasn't the best, but not the worst.

Not as enjoyable a read

This is the first Murder She Wrote story that I have read where Jessica’s rationale for taking unnecessary risks were ridiculous. I did not enjoy the story and struggled to get through it. I know this is fiction but a woman doing what she was doing in the middle of the night in Manhattan for someone she barely knew was just too much. I enjoyed the performances which kept me engaged.

Just Okay

Not of the best ones I’ve read. The accents were a bit strange. Still enjoyable.
