Enjoyed this book and the previous one. The characters are engaging and entertaining, I really enjoyed the building romance and the little background story.

The supernatural aspect isn't enough to be actually scary, and is often more a look at mental health. Anxiety, depression, and ptsd take center stage. Sometimes it hits a little hard, I may have skipped through a part of Micah's personal conflict with one of the other characters because it was driving my own anxiety off the rails... too real. which I suppose speaks for the writing.
