I like the first 2/3 much better than the last 1/3. But I can’t tell if it was his style faltering a bit or if it was the discrepancies about the characters in Iran that got to me. He did get a little long winded at times.
Arian Moayed is an amazing narrator, I’d definitely look for more books narrated by him in future.

The characters in this book show a lot about the Persian culture. It was about life and love and death and everything around it. Beautifully written!

I’ve been listening to audiobooks for almost a decade, and this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a review. This book has everything I love—authentic, exposed characters; artistic, surrealistic interludes; humor and pain woven together beautifully; a dive into a culture that I am not very familiar with; an outstanding performance; and plenty of questions left open.
