Aye

My husband grew up reading Ralph Moody books. I had never heard of him. I enjoyed the story so much. However, the reading is somewhat stilted at times, perhaps meant to sound like a child narrating. I could do without the accents applied to the characters, and I’d love a softer “a” and “the” too.

Swells my heart

This is a wonderful, true story of real life, blessing in the midst of hardship and proof that wholesomeness and strong family ties can bring joy, regardless of your circumstances. Also demonstrates the benefits of hard work brought tears to my eyes on several occasions.

Very uplifting story. The narration is really a lot of fun. I love the values that are portrayed in the Ralph Moody books.
