À propos de cet audio

The instant #1 New York Times bestseller!

A Human hybrid and an Alpha Were claw against the bonds of fate in the highly anticipated companion novel to the New York Times bestselling Bride.

Serena Paris is orphaned, pack-less, and one of a kind. Coming forward as the first Human-Were hybrid was supposed to heal a centuries-long rift between species. Instead, it made her a target, prey to the ruthless political machinations between Weres, Vampyres, and Humans. With her enemies closing in on her, she has only one option left—if he’ll have her.

As Alpha of the Northwest pack, Koen Alexander commands obedience. His authority is so absolute, only a fool would threaten his mate. It doesn’t matter if Serena doesn’t reciprocate his feelings, nothing will stop him from keeping her safe.

But power-hungry Vampyres and Weres are not the only threats chasing Serena. Sooner or later, her past is bound to catch up with her—and Koen might be the only thing standing between her and total annihilation…

Ive been WAITING for this and it was every bit as satisfying as I hoped!! On top of how amazing Ali Hazelwood’s writing is, the fact that they got Teddy Hamilton to be part of the performance is incredible since he’s my favourite voice actor. The performance was PERFECT, the writing was delicious, and I loved every second of it.

So good!!

my only issue was I didn't know Bride should be read first, as events there are referenced.

But loved it, laughed, cried, and had to call the bf lol

I hope there are more with these characters or this world.

listened in one day, couldn't shut it off !

Loved these characters!

I couldn’t put this one down! I enjoyed the pacing and something about this one vs the first one just flowed more naturally for me.

Better than the first one

I loved this story. I am a huge Ali Hazelwood fan and "Mate" did not disappoint. I did however, really struggle with the female narrator. Her pronunciation and articulation is very overdone and unnatural. It was clear she was trying to annunciate all her words clearly and this created a forced listening experience. I can't seem to get over it the more I hear the audio, which is a huge bummer because my Ali Hazelwood titles are the ones I re-listen to time and time again.

Generally good but the female narrator over-articulates everything and it's really distracting

I absolutely loved this story. Only critique I will note is the ending felt really anticlimactic and rushed. There was all this buildup for nothing and all their problems were suddenly easily solved. Idk. I just wish there was a bit more in the end.

Amazing but fell off in the end
