About this listen

Discover the love story that captured over 20 million hearts in Me Before You, After You, and Still Me.

They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose...

Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life - steady boyfriend, close family - who has never been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex-Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life - big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel - and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy - but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

A Love Story for this generation, Me Before You brings to life two people who couldn’t have less in common - a heartbreakingly romantic novel that asks, What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?

I was reticent to read this book as it is difficult to confront the misery of a disabled person. Moyes did an excellent job of helping me appreciate and accept the choice the disabled person makes, to live or di b e. W b e must for their mental health honour what is decided. That is the kind bd thing to do.

Great read!

I couldn’t stop listening to this story. The moral dilemma and has you feeling like you’re in the thick of it-my own opinion changing throughout the story. It was a brilliant reminder that we all experience life differently. An emotional read.

I really enjoyed the nudge to remember to consider others circumstances and get out of my own head and perspectives. I enjoyed the portrayal of the English family, so close knit with an assumed loyalty. The ending was so unhollywood, and it actually shrouded me. I respected Will's conviction to himself over all else. #Audible1

Surprising but refreshing ending.

Louisa’s voice sounds as if she’s 50 years old. It was hard to think I was listening to a youthful 26 year old talking. The voice actor for Trina would’ve been more suitable.

Louisa voice is not fitting

Full of personality and tugging on heart strings this tough and thoughtful novel reminds us of the human spirit and how important it is to fully be ourselves.

A gem
