Honestly I could sit and listen/read Willow Winter books for the of my life. Her writing and development of characters is incredible

The writing

Before you begin this series let me stop you here. This story characters and plot had so much potential. It's a decent listen however, the tension between these two becomes repetitive and monotonous. The female is weak, crying, broken and pathetic. The male is working through some Neanderthal issues and clings to his image insecurities. Together they could have been so much more. They could have been a cool power couple or worked in a strategic gang take over and power play. Instead this series keeps them stunted by each other and treading water the whole way through. Spend your credit elsewhere.
