What an encouraging story with valuable content!

Very compelling story with with academic content and statistics that further enriched the time. Well read, well written, and easy to listen to - even with the hard stuff.

Hope is alive!

If you enjoy a wonderful autobiography because you like to hear positive ways people can change- then this book is for you! If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and love to hear a powerful testimony and empowering scriptures - then this book is for you! This audible is read by the author who is a gifted presenter. She weaves together her personal story that includes the classic struggles of addiction, yet includes up to date brain science as seldom done. It is so encouraging to know the how and why we are so vulnerable to addiction, and also to know there is a way out. Her faith is a living one and down to earth. God says in the Bible, “
“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Isaiah 1:18
The work of Christ is evident in Laura’s life and her conviction to help others avoid catastrophe, as well as live an overcoming life is clearly this author’s intent. 5 x 5 stars!
