Everyone who suffers from Migraines knows that they are complicated nuanced and affect people in different ways. Until reading this I had no idea that the truth runs far deeper than one could imagine. This book made me feel seen and enlightened.

I really enjoyed the historical treatments and accounts of migraine, and the evolution of treatments to where we are today. I definitely felt like I was seen and heard and part of this group of un-understood people. The book helped me understand more what is, and maybe what isn't happening in my head.

I feel like this book gave me more understanding but no answers, and that is not the author's fault but the nature of migraine, which is why it is so frustrating to begin with.

I enjoyed this book. I keep up on new migraine info but learned a few new things. The narrator's voice can be annoying, but overall a great "read".
