Life changing concepts

Mark describes in a very simple way how our mindset affects our journey to accomplish our goals. Mark is a true legend in trading, and his success story is mind blowing. I highly recommend this book.

Belief in one's self.

I am a successful trader, beating the market on one week, one month, three and six months and matching the S&P on one year 25%. I still have concerns regarding my own expectations of my performance. I have noticed limited success in the past and it felt like an invisible ceiling on my returns.
Mark has identified in his book the importance of belief in one's self and the way he articulated it resonated with me so much that I can almost see when that "invisible ceiling" is pressuring me.
Understanding more about how I can make changes to these dynamics is very exciting.
It's actually quite simple I think. The act of celebrating one's successes(among other things), in the market is not only fun but, now I see the utility in the celebration and how it re-enforces positive thinking, plans and goals.
Basically, I am finding ways to be cognizant of my position size and intentionally adding zeros.

More of the same

The ideas were all solid and practical but nothing new here. As with all of these types of books, the building blocks are stated clearly but it is up to the reader/listener to be disciplined and only they can do that.
