Publisher's Summary

From Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author Natasha Madison comes a small-town best-friends-to-lovers romance.

Are you ready for the Southern Wedding series?

Things are supposed to go smoothly on your wedding day.

Aren't they?

Shelby

I got a love letter the night before I was supposed to marry the love of my life. Except the letter wasn't for me. My future husband had written it to someone else.

Weston (Ace)

Standing at the altar to watch my best friend get married was an honor. Finding out that he was sleeping with my girlfriend was a nightmare. Everything I knew was a lie.

When the opportunity came to get out of town and leave my ex behind, I took it.

Umbrella drinks and broken hearts don't mix well.

I shouldn't want Shelby for myself—but I do. I want her more than I've ever wanted anyone.

Maybe, she was just mine to hold.

It wasn’t bad it was just missing something.

It started off well then it just fell flat. I won’t be reading her books either because I can take on the bad language. Those writers that thinks bad language makes their books better that is a no. All I have to say to them is grow up. I have been telling my kids watch your language from the time they hit their teens so you can imagine how those grown writers make it hard for me to enjoy their books.

Love this Friends to Lovers Romance

Shelby and Ace were best friends since college and she was getting married to his best friend. The night before the wedding she receives an email from her fiancé which was meant to his lover declaring his love. Unfortunately, his lover is her best friend girl friend.
Does she or does she not go through the wedding. She decides to go through with the wedding but at the alter she exposes the affair between the two. Ace is devastating finding out that his best friend was screwing his girl friend as well as betraying his best friend.
So Ace and Shelby go on the wedding vacation together to get over the betrayal and things get interesting between them. Lovely story on how they discovered that they both had loved each other without realizing that both feel the same way.
Recommend this story as it is the favorite of the series. Although they are all good but this one so far is my favorite.

Romance with no Finesse- Listener Beware

I was swindled by TikTok. Will start off by saying I’m a big fan of romance novels; however, it is an art. The plot sounded interesting and story started off strong but then went downhill…fast. No one reads/listens to a romance novel to skip over the love scenes, but honestly found them unbearable to get through. Language choice was poor and repetitive. Actually found myself cringing. Characters also weren’t believable in their actions as supposed to be very successful individuals in their 30’s yet they seemed to have the emotional maturity of 13 year-olds. There was 45 minutes left and I couldn’t figure out what on earth could be worth adding to the story to fill that time. Turns out nothing, just filler. Couldn’t even bring myself to finish it as was ending on another love scene and didn’t have it in myself to get through another one. Honestly would be the equivalent to a p**nhub screen play.
The readers did their best with what they were given so can’t fault their performances.
Don’t waste your time with this one.
