Publisher's Summary

Take flight with the ender dragon in this official Minecraft novel! When a desert town is threatened by illager raids, a young adventurer turns to a newborn dragon to save her home.

Zetta is the best potion-maker in the village of Sienna Dunes. Okay, maybe she’s the only potion-maker in the village of Sienna Dunes. And maybe her potions don’t exactly work like they’re supposed to all the time. But when her village is menaced by a pack of illagers, only Zetta can see that the traditional ways won’t keep Sienna Dunes safe anymore.

Zetta journeys to her eccentric aunt’s workshop outside town to search for an answer and finds a lot more than she bargained for. A mysterious egg hatches into a scaly creature with purple eyes, black wings, and poisonous breath. It can’t possibly be the mythical ender dragon...can it? And if it is, can Zetta raise it to be the savior her village needs?

The threat of the illagers is growing fast, and Zetta’s accidental dragon is growing even faster. With the help of her two best friends and her daydreaming little cousin, Zetta must train the scariest (and scaliest) baby in the Overworld. But when the dragon is fully grown, will it save Sienna Dunes? Or will it spell the village’s end?

Great story but bad narration.

The story was great don't get me wrong and the narration was alright. Cool sound affects amazing really worth every penny. Also Zeda sounded like a snob. But really good overall.
Does Aunt Maryl kill the dragon at the end?!?

Babies First Minecraft Novel

Performance: Nicole Lewis’ voice work is overall fairly solid, but her over reliance on an “old, codgerly” type voice for the adult characters is striking.
Story: A seen before action-adventure story: a child living in a society stuck in its ways faces adversity, child (and their friends) are free and forward thinking but blocked at every turn by the society’s conservatism and their youth, but through the power of friendship they change everyone’s minds and saves the day. Nothing new, nothing special except for the fact it’s set in Minecraft.
Overall: It’s a decent story for kids getting into literature based on Minecraft. But in my opinion, it doesn’t even come close to being as good as the Max Brooks stories.

Buy this book and a nice story overall 🙂

I love the story. Like it's just a story but very good narrated and heartwarming story but I got some question : Is there book two like the island and mountain cause, it could be the end but I wish a second story will come out soonand in the end they say mending4 but there aren't any mending 4 in actual game ,but pphhh who cares thanks Nicky Drayden for good story (also heartwarming) and Nicole Lewis for nice narration.
Thanks for reading my review.
