This story unfolds with a lot is suspense and some rabbit trails. You think you know where it is going and then discover you are wrong. Excellent read.

WOW if this was only his 2nd book no wonder he only got better. Really enjoyed this book 🙂

The story was quite interesting and enjoyable. However, a few characters were left without an ending. For example, what happened to the fanatical minister? What happened to Dr. Lowell?

Well, I’ve only recently started to listen to his books and honestly, they are spellbinding from start to finish. Just when you think you’ve figured it out you discover a new twist.
I read on average, or listen to, 8 books a week.
I’m giving this a 9/10. For one of his earliest works, I’m so so impressed.
