Story
Hotel clerk Abby Medford has always enjoyed the quiet solitude of the night shift. The long, boring hours allow her time to study her law books. But when bad-boy-rocker Lucas Ford checks into the penthouse suite one night and demands Abby personally deliver his room service request, her formerly quiet nights are quickly filled with Lucas' erotic games. But as Abby soon learns, if she thinks she can indulge her innermost desires with Lucas without giving him her heart, she's dead wrong.

Story
What I meant to do in Vegas: Let my hair down for once and celebrate winning a medal at my first women’s hockey all-stars competition. What I actually did: Got senior prom drunk and woke up married to Brooklyn’s star winger, the great Neil Drake. He’s the heir to a billion dollars, and I barely survived my childhood. Our friendship is based strictly on hockey, takeout food, and smack talk. And now holy matrimony. We both know it can’t last - especially once his evil family gets wind of our Vegas shenanigans.

With a famous NHL player for a stepbrother, Violet Hall is well acquainted with the playboy reputation of many a hockey star. So of course she isn't interested in legendary team captain Alex Waters or his pretty, beat-up face and rock-hard six-pack abs. Story
You'd think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You'd be wrong. For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don't know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.

Dylan is my best friend, and the only person in my life who understands me. He doesn’t mind my social awkwardness or my weird history. The only glitch? He doesn’t know that I’m hopelessly, desperately in love with him. But I know better than to confess. Now that we’re both in college together, I’m seeing a new side of him. College Dylan drinks and has a lot of sex. None of it with me. Until the night I foolishly ask him to tutor me in more than algebra...and he actually says yes. But the cool morning light shows me how badly I’ve endangered our friendship.

Reed freaking Rivers. I wouldn’t trust a word out of the arrogant music mogul’s mouth if his gold-plated tongue were notarized. The man with the Midas touch would say anything to get me into his bed, and I know it. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want him to succeed. Indeed, the moment I laid eyes on Reed while he was speaking at an on-campus event I’d crashed, my body physically ached to feel his golden fingers - and tongue - all over me.

I’ve tried to like Adrian Savage, the mercurial frontman for Fugitive Summer, while serving as his band’s opening act on tour. We’re stuck together for three months, after all. And I’m well aware I’m lucky to be here. But it’s proved impossible. He’s far too rude and dismissive a guy to get along with. And way too good at getting under my skin. In fact, at this point, I think it’s fair to say I downright hate his guts.

I already have a hard time fitting in, so when my Kappa Chi sisters issue the challenge, I can’t say no. The dare: Seduce the hottest new hockey player in the junior class. At one point during the party, Alessandra said, “There’s nothing like a girl’s first love.” I knew she was talking about the first smash hit by my band, 22 Goats. Alessandra said it was the first song she’d heard by us and it “hit her like a ton of bricks”. Ironic, seeing as how I was having the same reaction from being in her presence.

Publisher's Summary
Straightlaced freshman Zooey Cartwright has arrived at UCLA determined to have a heck of a lot more fun in college than she did in high school. What's the first item on Zooey's agenda before classes start in two days? Losing her pesky V card. She's definitely not looking for a boyfriend, so where can Zooey find the right guy to do the deed and move along without a backward glance? At a party thrown by a bunch of football players, of course.
Enter Tyler Caldwell. A beast on the field and off, cocky as heck, and often wearing T-shirts with sayings like "God's Gift to Womankind", Tyler is most definitely not boyfriend material.
After a make-out session with Tyler leaves Zooey entirely unsatisfied, she is determined never to see him again. But her schedule lands her in not one but two of his classes, and it doesn't take long before Tyler is giving Zooey exactly what she wants - and a whole lot more she never bargained for.
Can Zooey surrender her body to this bad boy without giving him her heart, too?

Written in the Stars
I read this book first and loved it so much that I had to buy the audio. Lauren Rowe does an incredible job narrating (by the way, how cool is it that she narrates her own books!?!?) and I fell in love with Tyler and Zooey all over again. Even if you've read this one, I still recommend the audio because Lauren truly brings this story to life. THIS is how NA/college romance should be done! Pure perfection!!
Below is my original review of the book :)
I am literally bursting with LOVE for this book! It was like the merging of all of my favorite things into one story. From the songs/music highlighted (Harvey Danger, George Michael, to the musical Wicked), the pop culture references, and to the fantastic location at UCLA - it was pure perfection from start to finish. There were times while reading that I thought that the author was inside my head. Lauren Rowe and I are clearly twinsies.
Misadventures of a College Girl was such an awesome new adult/college sports romance. It was fun, sweet, and so sexy. Tyler may have come across initially as a cocky douchebag, but it was his vulnerability, drive, and thoughtfulness that won me over. I really enjoyed the playful banter and innuendo between him and Zooey and that she didn't let his charm turn her into a swooning fangirl - well, at least not all the time. ;) Their meet cute may have leaned more to the lust driven side than cute, but what ended up developing between them was organic and natural. I loved that there wasn't any unnecessary drama and that the story focused on Tyler and Zooey. The obstacles they face are realistic and honest. I respected both characters immensely for not letting their dreams fall by the wayside and for being true to themselves.
This modern day Romeo and Juliet story will have you laughing and swooning. I could not have had a bigger smile on my face and a happier heart when I finished. Can't recommend this book enough!
ps - ABSOLUTELY LOVED the author's note at the end! #BruinsForever

OUTSTANDING!
I can not express to you how much I loved this book. I have been in a slight book slump and gave this a try and OMG this is the sweetest, funniest book I have listened to in a while. The characters are amazing. I wished this was my life so much. Tyler has made my BBF list with no doubts. This is a very low angst listen which I appreciate from time to time but has so many emotions. Highly recommend and Lauren you did outstanding on this, writing and narration.

I rarely give 5 stars
If a book is really good I give it 4 stars. I save the 5 stars for books I love. I don’t know if it is because this took me back to my lost love college boyfriend or just the fast pace. I feel like fast pace books are few and far between these days while everyone seems to be hoping to be the next Stephanie M. I devoured this book. Loved the characters, and felt like it was all tied up in the end. Thank you Lauren, and your publisher for putting this on AE. I am binge listening and this has been one of my favorites. I will buy your audiobooks in the future. I am 100% sure I would not have taken a chance with a $15 credit on this book even though it would have been worth it! I will put you on my TBR list. I have a feeling I will not be disappointed.

Feel good story with some good sexy fun
I really enjoyed this story. I was pleasantly surprised by certain aspects of this book that I could easily have seen (and have seen in many other books) that were handled very well in this story. It's hard to put into words without giving anything away, but just know that this story will just make you feel good. On a side note, the many songs referenced were a wonderful little addition that I found I really enjoyed.

Amazing
I love Lauren’s stories. It’s got the perfect balance of sweetness and raunch. It’s also got a compellingly strong and quirky female lead and a swoon-worthy male lead. It doesn’t fall into stereotypes. And as typical Lauren style, she has heartbreaking, but realistic obstacles for them to overcome. I love it. So good. I wish I had more time with Zooey and Tyler.

So Good!
I loved reading about Zooey and Tyler's adventures together. The juxtaposition between the theater major and the football star makes this story interesting and entertaining. I enjoyed Zooey's sassyness and Tyler's confidence. Aside from a few moments that made me wonder how the story was really going to end, I think I had a smile plastered on my face for the rest of the story.
This was the first time I've listened to Lauren Rowe's narration, and it was great. Of course, it helps that she know exactly how the dialog is supposed to flow, the sighs, the side comments, etc. I thought she did a fantastic job bringing all the characters to life.

Talking
There was too much unnecessary talking. The beginning, her and the football player at the party talked entirely too much. If they were going to hook up or not, move on to other parts of the story. Was ready for this to be over before it started. They talked about cartoon characters in tee shirts for 2 chapters. Wow!
