Weak writing

This is set on an air force base. All the women come across as weak fragile flowers that needed to be protected. Also they ignore red flags and act stupid. This book drove me nuts.

K-9 ??? More like juvenile romance

My bad, I should have noticed the publisher. Sloppy romance...no actual dog handling. Even with the open ending, I'll not waste a credit on any more in this series.

Amazing Book As Usual

The post by kestergayle is a good lesson that one should look up an author before reading a book. The book is not preachy but truthful. Those who are lost often see truth being spoken as preachy and it’s sad. Terri writes wonderful and entertaining books. This is a great read and I recommend it to everyone

I like dogs and story is good and clean, but....

Narrator has such on nasal quality to her voice that every character sounds shy and timid and very female. Her voice inflections are good but sadly there is nothing she can do to change the quality or sound of her voice. I would like to listen to more from this author but it looks like all of the books in this series are narrated by the same person and I just can't do another book by this narrator.

Lots of Christian Emphasis

I only listened to the first hour or so, but there were frequent references to god, prayer, christianity, and faith in general in that short time. It was fairly heavy-handed, too. I am not religious and don't enjoy being preached to when reading for pleasure. And it absolutely felt like preaching. Also, I felt that the writing quality was poor. I will be returning this book, but since there is ABSOLUTELY NO MENTION of the christian influence in the blurb, I wanted to point that out to those who avoid and/or look for that type of story.
