Publisher's Summary
The bling is brighter, the drama is amped up, and the delicious beauties from Tu-Shonda L. Whitaker’s Millionaire Wives Club are back for a second season of backstabbing, divorce parties, and family sagas. Lights, camera, action!
Milan, Jaise, and Chaunci are the gorgeous, high-rolling divas starring in the hit reality show Millionaire Wives Club. As they struggle with love, lies, lust, and the pressures of sudden fame, their friendships turn into catfights that keep the cameras following all their malicious moves.
Milan is finally engaged to Kendu, the man of her dreams, and though things look perfect on the outside, distrust and jealousy are crumbling their romance. Jaise has found the love she so desperately craves, but her son, Jabril, remains the No. 1 man in her life - for better or for worse. And Chaunci, the independent, single mom who doesn’t feel she needs a man, is contemplating taking the plunge into a deep love affair - but will the man she chooses have room in his life for her? Add to this crafty cast Vera, a venomous new vixen who plays the game better than any of them, and you’ve got a season even more scintillating than the last.

LOVED IT!!!!!!!!! BOOK 2 IS A MUST READ!!
If you thought the first book was good then this is a must read. Loved the first one & this one is better. More drama, laughter & tears. "What type of hoebag walks into the sea? She ain't Moses. She should've knew she couldn't part the mf" KMSL!!!! The narrator was great again!!! They switched the narrator in the last one so I'm a bit hesitant but this is a really good book.

It was ok.
Is Bahni Turpin the default narrator for black literature now? If so, we need to change this ASAP! I usually love her narrations, heck, she was the reason I enjoyed 'The Help' so much. But she was not suited for this story. She made Vera sound like a stuck up ice queen that bore no resemblance to the lovable character from FlipSide of the Game and Game Over. Well, maybe that wasn't all Turpin's fault.
I love Whitaker's writing and her way of building drama but it's becoming too predictable. Or maybe I've lost the desire for black drama that perpetuates the mad black woman stereotype.

ok
I really liked this book and would recommend it. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I would have given it 5 stars if the author hadn't used God's name in vain. As always this book made me mad, sad, and laugh. I can't wait to hear the next book.

Good & Entertaining Book!
I chose the first book on a whim and decided to read the sequel, because the first book had me hooked!
This book was a nice escape from my usual type of book. I wanted a book that was easygoing, funny and would give me a mental break to relax and just ENJOY. Money Never Sleeps is exactly that.
I was pulled into the story. I was so invested in the characters! I wanted to shake the ladies so hard for some of their choices. I shook my head at many of the antics, and I straight up wanted to KILL Jabril!
If you're looking for a break from life to just escape into a lighthearted and easy to listen t book, this is definitely worth a shot.
As always, Bahni Turpin never disappoints! She's such a great narrator and I literally chose this book mainly because she was the narrator!

Basketball Wives Part 2
This was a good book, but I enjoyed the first book better. I guess adding the new character was necessary, but it didn't have the same magic as Part 1.
