Publisher's Summary

In a business like monster hunting, it's all about setting priorities.

The chaos god Asag has been quiet since the destruction of the City of Monsters, but Monster Hunter International know that he is still out there, somewhere - plotting, waiting for his chance to unravel reality.

When Owen and the MHI team discover that one of Isaac Newton's Ward Stones is being auctioned off by Reptoids who live deep beneath Atlanta, they decide to steal the magical superweapon and use it to destroy Asag once and for all. But before the stone can be handed off, it is stolen by a mysterious thief with ties to MHI and the Vatican's Secret Guard.

It's a race against time, the Secret Guard, a spectral bounty hunter, and a whole bunch of monsters to acquire the Ward Stone and use it against Asag. For as dangerous as the chaos god is, there is something much older - and infinitely more evil - awakening deep in the jungles of South America.

At the publisher’s request, this title is sold without DRM (Digital Rights Management).

One of the best in the series

This book was action packed and nicely tied in the MH Memoir books as well. I was hooked "cover to cover" so to speak. I hope the wait for the next book isn't as long as this one was.

Awesome series.

This is a great book, filled with great characters. This seems to be the lead up to a huge battle for all the factions. Can't wait for the next book.

1/2 a story. Should have been a novella

Nice that the story is progressing but 1/2 a story? Really? Why not charge half the price then?
This story takes place over a week and involves MHI trying to catch one teenager with daddy issues while acting like noobs the whole time. There is no character depth like in past novels. This whole story could have been shortened to a novella for $10 bucks and told in 3 hours.
You spent 1.5 years locked up in quarantine and this is all you give us? C’mon Larry. Put some effort into the next one please. Read the Terry Mancour Spellmonger series if you need inspiration.
