Publisher's Summary
I went in search of miracles…and stumbled upon a monster instead. In return for the healing I was so desperate for, I just had to make one teensy weensie promise….
To be his consort for, uh…forever.
To say I wasn’t exactly thinking things through when I said yes was an understatement.
And now I’ve been whisked away to a castle in a wintry wonderland with a ginormous, ferocious chimera. You know, lion-like head, goat horns, big freaking wings. Yeah.
And he’s just deposited me on his bed, ready to start making good on that whole consort promise. Apparently forever starts now.
Gulp.

Audio needs work
The story for the most part is good except parts are missing. It cuts off the chapters or repeats the words. The voices seem to change in the middle as well. Different voice thrown when in thought and different voice thrown in speaking lines. Voices not consistent. Half way through the books the steam is written well and plot thus far is good. I think I would enjoy it more if the bugs where fixed. I might go rent the book to read and see what was missed. Not worth paying for all the audio errors.

Lots of bugs in audible version
The editing on the audible version of this book leaves a lot of noticeable issues, usually at the end of the chapters. In addition to that I think the kindle version has some editing done after this was recorded as I noticed the female narrator saying a line that didn’t exist in the KU version - and it was cut off in the middle with bad editing.
The male narrator was pretty flat and monotone. The idea behind the story is solid and unique and I enjoyed it but stick to reading it instead of listening.
